In May of 2005 a company called Preferred In Atlanta discovered that many parents who were using the Preferred In Atlanta site were looking for recommended “kids” resources…places where kids could eat free, unusual places for kids parties, educational links…products and services for their kids, and so KidFriendlyOnline.Net was created.

Along the way we found that the parents also wanted their kids to be able to explore the Internet in a safe and fun environment – where they could be kids and learn, meet new friends and even give back to the community. As a result of this demand, we expanded the content of the website and created the KidFriendly Zoo.

We put together a team of parents, educators and experts on online safety, games, careers, media and FUN to create The Zoo. When you visit KidFriendlyOnline.Net you will find a place designed for “extraordinary” kids ages 5-12 where they can meet other Kids from around the globe, learn and earn scholarships, enhance their skills and learn to give back to the community.

The majority of our content is provided by our team of KidReporters who represent KidFriendly Schools in the US and Australia.
