How I Would Change the Life of One Person
I could change the life of one person by doing many extraordinary things, or I could help a number of people by doing a few things. This is a reasonable and necessary thing to do. I would give school materials to children who can't afford them.
Sure this may not be the biggest thing I can think of to help the life of one person, but on my list education is #1. If you just think about it, the reason you can figure out daily life problems is from knowing how. Put it this way, if you wanted to know the present time and you did not know how, then how do you expect to get anywhere on time. Well you can't. That would be why school and education are #1, they can provide you with many solutions on how to help yourself out, now and in the future.
What I would do is I would pick a classroom that can't afford the materials they need to learn and help them to get the materials. I can understand what it would be like to learn without the tools that help you understand things easier. If no text books were available then you would not always learn everything you need to, knowing that the teacher would have to write down on the board every little detail wasting your time to learn more. Without computers there would be no researching your history report or typing up your essay. These are the things that make learning more understandable and less complex.
I would start by making an announcement to the class I picked, and explain to them that I myself and other volunteers would like to help them to raise money to buy them better supplies. I would spread the word of this by making many flyers and posters to hand out or hang up around my district. I would be fortunate enough to get a column in the newspaper. I would recognize myself and the classroom I am helping out by making a website. In that website I would make available a page to donate money to the classroom. I would also spread the word by making donation boxes and place them at every local grocery store or malls reminding people out there that there are people in this world that need help. Hopefully that will make the people realize and understand how much that classroom needs your help to donate as much money as possible.
That would be the way I would choose to help the life of one……or a whole classroom! But to me there is only one reason to do this and it would be the thought to help others.
I have written a poem to add on to my dream of helping out the children needing school supplies:
We wait for help to come to our side
But it just seems that help wants to hide.
We use what we've got though it's very small
Tests are coming and were not prepared at all
We wait for help to come to our side
But it just seems that help wants to hide.
No books or computers or utensils too
Please someone help us someone like you.
We wait for help to come to our side
But it just seems that help wants to hide.
We wipe away our tears though we can't help but stream them out
We all stay on the positive side and do not wine or pout.
We wait for help to come to our side
But it just seems that help wants to hide.
So do us a favor and lend us a hand
Cause we all know you need to take a stand
We wait for help to come to our side
But it just seems that help wants to hide
Hide, hide
It just seems help wants to hide.

One way I found to help others...
Only a few days ago I discovered a community service project that my church was recently working on. Their goal is to help victims who have suffered from floods that have destroyed parts of their homes in the making. The Charlotte Presbyterian Church decided that they wanted to help! Five times a year my church goes down in the mountains of North Carolina to help the less fortunate to rebuild parts of their homes. Whether it is re-shingling roofs, fixing up floors, or painting back walls, they will do whatever they can to help the ones who need it!
Before they can start they need to gather up groups of volunteers to help rebuild the houses. That is never a problem because this church is always willing to help out whenever there is an opportunity. Most of the staff and workers at the church usually help out, but to help hundreds of flood victims with their homes there can never be too many!
That is the way my church can help the community. I hope this article has inspired you to help the less fortunate too!
My School is Great...
My school is great because of so many different reasons. For starters it is good to know that every morning when I show up for school I have a great group of cougarifc students and staff always there to help me and support me when I need a little boost. It makes me feel proud to know that my school has been given the Honors School of Excellence Award three years running. I guess that means that my school has many bright and smart children to receive high academic grades. Those grades are probably very high because they always come into a classroom with a teacher that is ready to teach!
Another reason that my school is great is because we have reasonable rules and a phenomenal principle to help us not to forget them! Our fundraisers and book fairs jumbled together with our mile run and holiday parties all contribute to what makes Endhaven Elementary school great!
The Animal I am most like is a Giraffe.
If I had to choose which animal I am mostly like, then I would have to say a giraffe. I picked a giraffe because the first thing that comes to my mind when I hear the word giraffe is long and tall. When I am sitting or doing anything daily I first like to stretch out my ideas and make them long like a giraffe's neck.
A giraffe's personality is half stubborn and half kind. I thought that was like me because sometimes I can be stubborn then I might suddenly change my personality and become nice.
